Your kids may ask you questions about the presidential election. Here are a few possibilities:
- Why have all our presidents been white men ?
- Why is running for president called a race?
- When will I be able to vote?
- Why do politicians make so many speeches?
- How old do you have to be to be president?
- Could I be president some day?
- Why do people want to shake a politician’s hand?
- How do we know the best person will win?
- What do you have to do to run for president?
- Who do you want to win, and why?
Ask your kids what they are picking up from the campaigning and television coverage. I’m sure you’ll hear some interesting answers. How much do they understand what is going on? Cute, funny or serious, the Bing Note Team would love to hear from the minds of your kids, so drop us a comment. Thanks,
