Actions can last a lifetime. I still remember sitting in my fourth grade classroom, waiting and hoping for someone to choose me to be their partner. Being different from the other kids in my room, I was usually one of the last ones to get chosen.



Music and Autism

Through my many years as an elementary school teacher I found music to be a great tool for teaching basic skills. I created songs as a means of teaching reading, math, and language. I found that the children responded to and seemed to grasp the skills easier and with a great deal of enthusiasm.
