Be An Inspiring Parent
Give yourself a gift that will change your life and will allow you to truly inspire your children.

Give yourself a gift that will change your life and will allow you to truly inspire your children. That gift is a kinder attitude toward yourself, and life in general.
“Gimme a break,” you may say in response, sensing a repeat of what you have heard a thousand times. To that I say, just because you’ve heard it doesn’t mean you’ve ever given it an honest try.
We are much too hard on ourselves. Do you ever call yourself stupid, idiot, jerk? What kind of a friend are you to the one person who will be with you until your last breath? Think about it. What kind of example is that to the little ears that are listening?
These four suggestions have been around a long time. I’m not taking credit for the original thoughts, only the rhyme that ties them together.
- Say positive, uplifting things to yourself, and believe that they are true.
- Treat others in the same way that you want them to treat you.
- Strive to be your very best, go that extra mile.
- Live life with joy, and always find something to make you smile.
What do you have to lose, except a negative outlook that pulls you down?
Please let me know if you are making an effort to become a better friend to yourself. It is as simple as 1,2,3 and 4.
