For this week’s Tuesday Treat, I was moved to write about a wonderful new site, with a wealth of valuable information for moms, dads, teachers, and anyone involved in a child’s life. The site is called Early Childhood News & Resources (ECN&R), and it’s owned and operated by Shara Lawrence-Weiss, who is also the owner of Mommy Perks and Personal Child Stories.

ECN&R holds the belief that every life is valuable and that every child deserves to be loved, appreciated and properly cared for. Their goal is to provide readers with valuable data that will aid in the healthy care-taking of their children/grandchildren/family/friends.

Self-Esteem – Self-esteem cupcakes were made for the first day back from spring break. Read the heart-breaking story of what prompted this great idea! Kids can always use some encouragement, and Bingzy Notes from Bing Note are a great way to add a pleasant surprise to a child’s day.

Brain Development - Did you know that a baby’s brain is developing, inside the womb, from the moment of conception? Shara puts this all into perspective, as she shows some fascinating 4D pictures of the development of the brain inside the womb.
