Family, and the Language of Love
By The Schoolmarm • Mar 12th, 2009 • Category: family
credit: JenCaroleGary Chapman and Ross Campbell have written a book called The Five Love Languages of Children. I think it is worth consideration for your family.
As in their other Love Languages book, they teach that there is more than one way to show love: through physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time, gifts or acts of service.
According to the authors, we need to learn the language of love used by the ones we love and approach them in that way. It certainly will make you think about the differences in your kids, your friends, your family members and how they express their love. It will help you to understand yourself better as well.
Don't keep your love a secret from your family. Find special ways to let them know. Make sure you know the language of love that suits them best.
