Happy Thanksgiving!

For the cooks in the house it is a day that starts early, be grateful that you are well enough to take on the task of wrestling tom into the oven.

For the one who has to foot the bill for the meal either at home or in a restaurant, be grateful that you can pay for the food without taking out a loan.

For those of you who are surrounded by friends and family, from the sweetest to the crankiest one in the clan, take a minute to find something to appreciate in each one.

For you who find it hard to count blessings because something has gone terribly wrong in your life, don’t despair and don’t give up.  Life is about change and whatever your situation, it will change.  You may never be able to get back what you lost, but you can survive and believe it or not, you can even thrive.  

Enough said. Pass the mashed potatoes and gravy, please!
