Inspire Kids to Enjoy Life's Little Treasures

Mom, Dad, teacher or friend: to inspire children you need to be inspired yourself.

If you can find joy and appreciation for the little things in your life, then you will never run out of things to enjoy, because life is made up of little things, precious little moments. Pass these on to your children.

How do you do that in a busy world? I suggest, dear hearts, that you take time to find a quiet place: a snowy hill, sandy beach or your own backyard, stretch out like you did when you were a kid, take a deep breath, and connect with the simple pleasures of just being alive.  Look around you and really see .  Listen and really hear.

Help your children to store up special memories free of technology, they will love God's incredible graphics.

Little Treasures

Bumble bees and apple trees
And ivy growing on walls
Baby knees and car keys
And pictures hanging in halls
So many things in this world bring us joy and pleasure
Simple things, lovely things

That make up life’s little treasures.
