Parents, How Well Does Your Child See?

credit:CJ SorgLouis was in the second grade before it was discovered that he was extremely farsighted. For seven years it had gone undetected that he could not see well up close. No wonder why he struggled with his classwork. No wonder why his parents feared he might have a learning disability.
To everyone’s relief, after receiving the proper glasses, which took several adjustments, Louis began to make incredible strides. The parents were very grateful to the teacher for having urged them to get his eyes checked by a specialist.
Louis’ painful experience gave him a poor self-image, and lowered his self-esteem. He needed additional help to deal with that.
Parents, make sure that your children get thorough vision and hearing examinations when they are young. Louis’ parents wish they had.
