PBS Kids: Explore & Learn

PBS Kids! is chock-full of fun stuff to do, which could take days or even weeks to explore. Parents will love PBS Kids! It’s full of high-interest, safe sites for children. Kids can return repeatedly and still find new places to explore. The individual sites are based on PBS children’s television programs and are full of familiar characters. Targeted at a variety of grade levels, many of the sites are appropriate for a wide range; others, such as Sesame Street (Pre K-k) or Way Back (2-6), are intended for a narrower audience. Several of the sites also have navigational help sections to help parents guide their young children around the site. PBS is known for its high-quality education programing, and this web site maintains the standard. Have fun!

Power Words will certainly help kids develop their vocabulary along with improving their listening skills.

Planetary Rescue Squad Kids have to launch a package of spare parts to a broken down jeep trapped behind a giant rock. They need to adjust the force and angle of the launcher to make a successful launch. Lots of learning taking place to successfully deliver the spare parts!

Funny Photos It’s easy and a lot of fun determining what is wrong in the photo.

Happy Exploring!
