For this week's Tuesday Treat, I was moved to write about a new site called Early Childhood News & Resources (ECN&R). ECN&R believes every life is valuable and every child deserves to be loved, appreciated and properly cared for. It is their goal to provide readers with valuable data that will aid in the healthy care-taking of children/grandchildren/families.



NEW Activities for Kids!

Most recently we created a St. Patrick's Day activity, which encourages kids to dream BIG and to believe in themselves. I'm very excited about our new Easter activity, which will be an egg hunt, focusing on the word "can." Stay tuned! We will post this one soon. BUT…I want to make sure you know that we not only develop seasonal activities. We have everyday activities focused on real situations, which you can also download and print for FREE.



Hand-Crafted Easter Basket Activity

This Easter, why not start a tradition of making your own handcrafted Easter basket? It's super easy, super fun, and it's a great way to spend quality time with your kids or students. My mom and I made these baskets when I was a kid. And for many years, she made them with her students when she taught kindergarten. Everyone LOVED them!
