Children may be concerned for all the bad news they hear. Let them hear encouraging words as we start a new period in our history with President Obama. Help them to understand how blessed they are to live in a democracy.

The American people have chosen a new president. Let’s all appreciate the diversity his presidency offers and what it means to us, as a people.
