Top 10 Reasons To Use That’s Bingzy! Activity Sheets For Kids

#10. The activities are developed by award-winning teachers who taught in the Los Angeles Unified School District, including Mary Ward Taylor aka The Schoolmarm, and Arlene Richards, author of That’s Bingzy! Busy Building Self-Esteem.

Mary and Arlene, along with Grace Busby and Valeria McCray have come together to develop an array of fun, self-esteem building activities for children, focused on Bingzy’s Builder Uppers. And what’s impressive is that if you total the numbers of years these 4 retired teachers taught children, combined they have nearly 200 years teaching experience. Now that’s experience!

#9.The activities are based on the newly released children’s picture book, That’s Bingzy! Busy Building Self-Esteem by Arlene Richards. Arlene has a master’s degree in education, and taught the primary grades for more than 45 years. With her “can” do approach to teaching, she has been voted Teacher of the Year, and nominated Outstanding Teacher of America for her creative materials.

#8. They are FREE! And yes…they really are free. No strings attached. Just click on Activity Sheets at the top, click on the “builder-upper” word, download, print, and Presto…you’re done!

#7. The objective of the activity sheets is to build children’s self-esteem, inspire them to believe in themselves, and to help children respect themselves, others, and the environment which they live. The goal is to instill this thinking into them at an early age, so as they go through life’s challenges (and we all know there will be challenges), they will have a strong, well-balanced, moral character set as their foundation. And of course, the goal is for kids to have loads of fun as they learn and work on these activities.

#6. There is a wide assortment of activities offered – with styles ranging from discussion-based activities, to activity-based activities, to education-based activities, and some incorporate a combination of all three. So don’t worry, there’s something for all.

#5. Due to the nature of many of the activities developed, they serve as a springboard for discussion and communication between the child and parent/guardian. What a great way to open up the communication lines, and to get to know what the child is thinking about various topics.

#4. Perfect for quality family time! Children can work on the activities by themselves, but many of the activities are designed so that the family or even friends can get involved. What a great way to get to know your child and their friends.

#3. The activities we’ve developed have a unique appeal. Yes, we could’ve created activities focused purely on learning the ABC’s, 123’s, shapes, and colors. And we do have more education-based activities, but our competitive advantage is in the hot topics we cover – teaching kids at a young age what it means to be “strong” on the inside, respecting the earth by recycling, respecting others by using “polite” words, and getting along with family members. And then, teaching kids these topics in an innovative and fun format. And did I mention they are FREE!

#2. Let’s face it; it really does take a village to raise a child these days. Parents need help. There are so many negative forces in our world today, which have led to major tragedies such as Columbine and the Virginia Tech Shooting. We want to help our parents teach this next generation of children crucial concepts such as what it means to be Strong, Powerful, Healthy, Loving, Harmonious, Creative, Successful, and Happy.

And the number 1 reason:

We Really Do Care! And not only do we care, but we are here to make a difference. Our goal is to touch the lives of as many children as we possibly can, with activities focused on important topics – topics which children need to be exposed to at an early age and learn today. This exposure will ultimately help them to become men and women with strong values, resulting in a brighter tomorrow.
And then…what a wonderful world this will be!
