Isn't it wonderful to be able to find those "sure winners" when looking for educational games for children? Thousands of toys are developed each year, but how do we know which ones actually work? And what exactly is a "sure winner"?
Well, a Los Angeles-based company called Beyond Learning has developed educational board games, where children are so busy having fun that they forget they're actually learning. There are currently 2 games out in the market - Word Chase! for reading, and Number Hunt for developing math skills.
Jill Gaynor, the CEO and entrepreneur who launched Beyond Learning started teaching elementary school in 1997. Since then, she has worked at various schools in both Los Angeles and New York. She holds a Masters degree in Child and Adolescent Literacy.
And to top it off, all of Beyond Learning games are printed with soy-based ink on recycled paper, producing the world's first eco-friendly board games. Now that's a Sure Winner!
