National Geographic For Kids

National Geographic for Kids

I think almost everyone is familiar with National Geographic. The magazine has been with us for more than 30 years, helping us to learn more about the world while learning about ourselves. I can even remember as a kid, one of my teachers bringing in an article on different tigers around the world with pictures. It was really cool!

But did you know, National Geographic has a website specifically for kids?

It's an awesome resource featuring games, videos, stories, interactive adventures, puzzles, and quizzes.  There's even more for kids on topics such as wildlife, entertainment, science, technology, extreme sports, adventures, amazing kids, and wonders of the world. It's definitely a "must visit" site.

Though the online website is designed for kids ages 6 - 14, I think even parents, guardians, or educators will find it extremely interesting and fun.  I know I did.

Oh, don't forget to subscribe to National Geographic Kids monthly magazine, a hard copy of what's new and fun.

Let me know what you think of this Tuesday Treat by adding a comment, and feel free to recommend sites as well. We are always looking for fun, educational sites, and activities which help us to inspire children.

Just another Tuesday Treat from me to you.
